Adapted from Wikipedia: The Ghastly Ones are a surf–garage rock band with a late-night monster movie theme.  They infused their love of Halloween records, late night monster movies and Screaming Lord Sutch with inspiration from early sixties surf and hotrod acts like The Lively Ones, Avengers VI, and The Del-Aires to create the first 'spooky surf' band.

Adapted from Wikipedia: The Fuzztones are a garage rock revival band formed in 1980, playing through the 1990s and now.  Founded by singer-guitarist Rudi Protrudi (real name: Glenn Dalpis) in New York City, the band has gone through several member changes but is currently active in Europe.

While they have quite a few other albums besides this one, Monster A-Go-Go is noteworthy as it covers a number of classic Halloween-themed songs, most of which are featured by their original artists on the Monster List of Halloween Songs on the main page.
