On the air

• This American Life -  My favorite radio show on NPR or any other station.  Site has archives of nearly every show ever broadcast in streaming audio.  Or see a list of my favorites.

• Car Talk -  Listen to this week's show.

• Science Friday Archives -  Episodes of NPR's Talk of the Nation.  Episodes are organized by topic and are archived from mid-1996 to the present.

• The Unofficial David Sedaris Internet Resource -  Though not updated very often, this is a great bibliography of where the author's pieces have been published.

• Sarah Vowell's columns -  Links for collections of the pieces she wrote for Salon.com can also be found here, here, here, and here (They really need to revamp that site!).  Several of these pieces ended up in The Partly Cloudy Patriot.

• Chuck Palahniuk.net -  A "writer's cult" dedicated to the author of Fight Club and other works, but also highlighting other novelists with similar styles and subject matter.

• Gladwell.com -  Home site of Malcolm Gladwell, author of The Tipping Point (a great non-fiction read).  His site contains an archive of his articles for The New Yorker magazine.

• Found Magazine -  The best unrecognized literary genre outside of bathroom graffiti.

• Other People's Stories -  Tales told by a friend of a friend before they make their way to you.

• The New Yorker magazine -  Great writing across the board.

Art

• Royal Journal of Found Art -  Similar to Found Magazine (above) but with more emphasis on visual art.

• Bill Sienkiewicz - Best known for his work in comic books (especially Stray Toasters), but works in a number of other mediums.  Odds are, you've seen lots of his stuff without knowing it.
